Welcome to Bible Answers Direct! This is a brand new site with its mission being Catholic
Apologetics. This site is not aimed to only defend the Catholic faith but it is also aimed to
educate both Catholics and other Christians alike about the beauty of the Catholic Church. The
main focus of Bible Answers Direct is to present the Catholic Truths as found in Sacred
Scripture with accuracy and precision. Therefore the main focus is the Bible! Although, this
does not mean that Sacred Tradition will not be referenced. It just means that the teachings of
the Church will be justified with Sacred Scripture and confirmed with Sacred Tradition.
From the very beginning of the Church, when the New Testament letters were still being written,
the Church was charged with safe guarding the faith! Not only did this include what the Apostles
preached, but also when the age of the Apostles was done, what they wrote. The mission of
Bible Answers Direct is to educate both Catholics and other Christians alike on how the Bible,
which the Church has safe guarded from the beginning, supports Catholic teaching. Topics will
range from Justification "Sola Fide" and Authority "Sola Scriptura" to the nature of the Church
and the Papacy. No stone will be left unturned! Although, the aim is to have this be an
interactive site, so feedback from you is essential as to which topics are explored.
The first topic up for discussion is Justification. Are we saved by faith alone? Are we saved
by faith and good works? What is Justification anyway? The Bible will be explored to see what
it has to say on the issue. Soon to follow will be the discussion on the nature of Authority. Is
the Bible the sole authority for the Church "Sola Scriptura"? Is there such a thing as
Apostolic Succession? Once again, the Bible will be looked to the provide the answers.
As I had said previously, your feedback is essential. So, if you have a question about any of the
topics on this site or have any objections to its content, please contact me.

which a person justified and two to discuss the nature of that justified person.
Sola Scriptura - Is the bible alone the sole source of authority in everything related to Christian
doctrine? This article takes a look at the Bible for the answer. You may be surprised after
looking at Bible why there is any controversy at all.

Apostolic Succession - This article will cover the nature of Church Authority as found in the
bible. Was the authority granted to the Apostles by Christ passed on to successors or did their
office die with them? The bible has the answer!
Papal Authority - This article will cover the source of Papal Authority. Was Peter the head of
the Apostles? More than that, is the Bishop of Rome the Pastor of the universal Church on
earth? As always, the bible has the answer!
